Harry Dixon Vintage Rare Hammered Copper Arts & Crafts Puzzle Box. Signed with impressed signature. Original wooden liner. Beautiful reddish nut-brown patina which has been gently cleaned decades ago, though much of the patina has returned over time. Very good condition, the back of the box where it meets the wooden liner is slightly flexed which results in a very slight reduction in the overhang of the top. I mention this for the sake of accuracy as it does not distract from the visual impact. Please view the image from above the box with the lid open. Harry Dixon's puzzle boxes were time consuming to make and very few come to market. Measures: 5 1/8" wide x 4 1/8" deep x 2 1/8" high including the decorative latch which extends higher than the lid.
