Rare set of six Limbert Spindle Yellowston chairs

Rare set of 6 Limbert spindle Yellowstone dining chairs. Very rare chairs that were designed for the Yellowstone Park and were never available as part of Limbert's production line of furniture. Limbert also designed unique items for other organizations during the American Arts & Crafts Movement including the Mission Inn in Riverside California. These very rare Charles Limbert spindle chairs were produced exclusively for the Yellowstone National Park around 1906. A unique Prairie School design influenced chair featuring spindles that run from the lower rear stretcher that pierce the top of the crest rail with square through tenons. Measure 18" wide x 17.5" deep at seat x 38" high. Three chairs seats still have the original rush seats, three have been replaced.
