Original Gustav Stickley oak buffet sideboard with hammered copper strap hinges on each door. One of Gustav Stickley's most successful sideboard forms. The beautiful and graceful design elements of the significantly over-hanging top, the slight taper to the legs and the top of the rear post's, the gentle rise of the inverted-v at the top of the plate rack are visually enhanced by the strength of the hand-hammered copper pulls and strap-hinges. Beautiful original rich reddish nut-brown patina to the finish and hardware. Shallow water stain removed from the top and re-touched. Signed inside of the drawer with the firms red decal and with the paper label on the back. Minor wood chips repaired on both doors, minor roughness near locks on both sides as shown.
