Period Limbert style oak safe, excellent as nightstand. Circa 1912
Arts & Crafts period oak safe similar to the work from the Charles Limbert Furniture Co.. Model number 111 stenciled in black below the drawer. Features Grand Rapids hardware, arched stretchers front, sides & back. The back is finished so that the safe can be placed away from the wall. Behind the locking door is a metal interior, above the open shelf is a single dovetailed drawer with dividers. Original finish with minor stains on the top & scattered light edge roughness. The rich reddish nut-brown color is typical of many of the Limbert pieces.
