Early Gustav Stickley Writing Desk 1902

Original Gustav Stickley early & rare writing desk in excellent original finish with it's leatherette top intact. Signed with the large red decal with "Stickley" in a rectangle, circa 1902 to 1903. Designed with many of the desirable early features including the deep rich original finish, faceted wooden knobs, chamfered board construction on sides, back & interior, large exposed pinned through-tenons front & back and keyed through-tenons on each side. As shown, the drawers are as long as the desk is deep. A functional & visually appealing form.
