L. & J. G .Stickley 54in. Oak Dining Table with Four Leaves

Original L. & J G. Stickley 5-leg dining table with four leaves. This table came to us in good condition, in need of refinishing on the top from regular household wear for almost 100 years and it was missing it's leaves. We made four quarter-sawn leaves and tightened the entire table. Due to the "floating leg" in the center, when the table is open, the outside pairs of legs remain near the ends of the table for stability while the center leg supports the leaves. The table is very sturdy and level when closed and when the leaves are installed. We have totally reconditioned the table top and leaves so the entire top is tight and flush. The table is signed with the 1906 to 1912 hand clamp red decal with the words: "L.&J.G. Stickley, Handcraft" . A few places of minor wear on the legs where chairs meet the legs. Base retains it's original finish.
