Sargent, listed in Davenport's, Hughes, Fieldings, Mallet, Moure and Whos Who. Paul Turner Sargent (1880-1946) was born in Illinois and traveled widely, in 1929 established a second home in Los Angeles. He studied with John Harlow in Illinois and under Anna Piper and Otis Caldwell and at the AIC under C.F. Browne and J.H.Vanderpoel. He taught at Eastern Illinois State Teachers College and privately.
