Muriel Branegan Bacon Original Oil On Canvas. Listed California Artist.
Muriel Branegan Bacon Original Oil On Canvas. Titled "Bidamiro" (Great Huipil) circa 1950. Born in Grass Valley, CA on July 16, 1909. She died in Santa Rosa, CA on Aug. 10, 2002. Also known as Muriel Mitchell Branegan, she is found in some art publications by her maiden name "Muriel Branegan". Listed in Hughes "Artists in California, 1786-1940 vol. II, and Mallet's "Index of Artist's. She is also known for her watercolors. Exhibited: GGIE, 1939, SFAA, 1940. Frame measures 34" by 43", the canvas measures 24" by 34".
