Gustav Stickley Original Buffet Sideboard with Hammered Copper Strap Hinges. Original Gustav Stickley oak buffet sideboard with hammered copper strap hinges on each door. One of Gustav Stickley's most successful sideboard designs, featuring the beautiful design elements of the significantly over-hanging top, the slight taper to the top of the rear post's, the gentle rise of the inverted-v at the top of the plate rack and the hand-hammered hardware copper pulls and strap-hinges. Beautiful original rich reddish nut-brown patina to the finish and hardware. The finish to the top only has been enhanced. Signed on the side of the drawer with the branded mark used from 1912 to 1916 and with the paper label on the back. Minor wood chips repaired on both doors, as shown.
